Young City Growers – Youth Internship Program
- A youth paid and volunteer internship program that provides participants with the opportunity to grow food locally, learn about urban agriculture and the local food system.
- YCG – Internship Program works with local businesses, agencies and institutions in creating entrepreneurial opportunities for youth interns to sell locally grown produce and engage in entrepreneurial practices
- YCG Internship Program works with local partners to create and maintain CSA model market gardens and agricultural sites in Waterloo.
Current Site Locations:
The Young City Growers Junior and Senior Internship Programs are currently ran between April and October at the following Waterloo project partner land sites: Wilfrid Laurier University and KW Habilitation.
